The service

FileRaccoon provides free, browser-based image compression. All processing happens on your device; we do not receive or store your files.

Your responsibilities

• Only process images you own or have permission to use.
• Do not use the site for unlawful purposes.
• Keep your own backups — we cannot recover anything for you.

No warranty

The tool is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Compression is lossy for JPG and WebP output, and results depend on your browser and device. We do not guarantee that any particular target file size can be reached for any particular image.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of this site, including loss of image quality or data.

We may update these terms and the available tools at any time. Continued use of the site means you accept the current terms.
