Yes. Converting images is completely free, with no account, no sign-up, and no limit on how many images you convert.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Conversion runs entirely inside your browser using built-in image features. Your file is read from your device, processed in memory, and handed straight back to you as a download. It is never sent to us.
Can I convert PNG to JPG?
Yes. Drop in your PNG, choose JPG, and select Convert image. The result keeps the original pixel dimensions and downloads with a .jpg extension.
What happens to transparency when converting to JPG?
JPG cannot store transparency. If your image has transparent areas, we tell you before you convert and fill those areas with white rather than black. If you want to keep transparency, choose PNG or WebP instead.
Can I convert JPG to PNG?
Yes. JPG to PNG works the same way. PNG stores every pixel exactly, so nothing more is lost, though the file is usually larger than the JPG you started with.
Can I convert images to WebP?
Yes. JPG, PNG, and WebP can all be converted to WebP, and WebP images can be converted back to JPG or PNG. Transparency is preserved when converting a transparent PNG to WebP.
Does converting an image resize it?
No. Conversion always keeps the original pixel dimensions. If you need different dimensions, use the Resize tool, and if you need a specific file size, use the Compress tool.
